Peace messenger is part of the United Nations international Peace messenger cities Campaign and as such, each selected city around the World has certain duties to perform. One of those duties was the event held on the 22nd July 2007 in conjunction with Brighton Carnival.

The production company, Harmony Culture, invited us to tender for this contract and to run the bar in conjunction with the overall production of the event. The event was an open event which took place on Hove Lawns as the grand finale of the Brighton Carnival. The bar was required to be in keeping with a family-friendly day out which we took into consideration when negotiating and confirming the product range. We ran a small, efficient bar which sold locally produced real ale on draft as well as lager, cider, wine and soft drinks. We decided not to stock spirits as it was felt not to be appropriate at this event this year.
