2003
This was the year The Big Chill’s new business partners (Cantaloupe Group) came on board which meant we had a new team of people to work with and new systems to adhere to.
The event increased in size which meant certain new measures needed to be introduced. We looked at new and more environmentally sound ways of implementing the bars as well as increasing per capita expenditure.

we brought in a new recycling system for glasses and we introduced new, more ethical, products and contractors.

We introduced the use of full structural planning for all bars giving all other departments a more transparent picture of what we were doing, therefore allowing for smoother implementation and coordination between departments.

We reduced costs on structures as well as back area control systems.
|
We increased turnover in the bars by over 125% from 2002.
